About the Role:

Demandbase seeks a highly experienced and visionary Vice President of Product Marketing to join our dynamic team. As the VP of Product Marketing, you will be pivotal in shaping our product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies. You will lead a lean team of passionate product marketers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive the success of our products in the market.

The compensation range for this role is: $250,000 - $290,000.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Product Positioning and Strategy: Develop and execute portfolio, product, and platform positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies that differentiate Demandbase's solutions in the competitive B2B marketing technology landscape and align to the corporate brand narrative.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, hire, and inspire a high-performing team of best-in-class product marketers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. 
  • Market Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive dynamics, providing insights and recommendations for product development and strategic decision-making.
  • Product Launches: Plan and execute successful product launches, coordinating efforts across marketing, sales, and product teams to maximize product adoption and market penetration.
  • Customer Insights: Work closely with customers and sales teams to gather valuable feedback and insights, ensuring product marketing strategies align with customer needs and pain points.
  • Sales Enablement: Collaborate with sales and rev ops teams to develop effective sales enablement materials, tools, and training programs to help them succeed in the field.
  • Content Creation: Oversee the creation of compelling marketing collateral, including whitepapers, case studies, videos, and webinars, to support demand generation and thought leadership efforts.
  • Metrics and Analytics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives, providing regular reporting to the executive team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product management, engineering, demand generation, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of product and marketing strategies.
  • Budget Management: Manage the product marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to achieve strategic goals and deliver ROI.

What we’re looking for:

  • 15+ years of experience in product marketing, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and marketing B2B SaaS products.
  • Strong understanding of the B2B marketing technology landscape.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret market data.
  • Innovative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Collaborative and cross-functional team player.
  • Experience in the ABM (Account-Based Marketing) space is a plus.
